CIMA Member in Practice

Simpsons Cloud Accounting is led by Stuart Simpson FCMA MCSI, a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant and CIMA Member in Practice. That senior professional experience sits directly behind the work, with clear responsibilities, repeatable accounting controls and direct oversight.

Clients are not passed through layers of account management. The objective is to keep the accounting close to the business and commercially useful throughout the year.

01

Small by design

Clients are not passed through layers of account management. The operating model is intended to preserve direct professional oversight as the practice grows.

02

Cloud first

Digital records, Xero-led bookkeeping and repeatable workflows reduce administrative friction around routine accounting.

03

Control focused

The monthly close is built around what remains unresolved, not merely whether a bank balance has been reconciled.

04

Professionally led

FCMA MCSI, CIMA Member in Practice and direct accountant involvement sit at the centre of the service model.

What we are trying to improve

Move the accounting closer to the transaction date.

Traditional small-business accounting can leave too much work until the VAT quarter or year end. By then, receipts are missing, memories are weaker and the numbers have already lost much of their decision value.

Our ongoing model moves that review into the month itself. The result should be fewer surprises, clearer responsibilities and a more useful accounting record.
